Balochistan Horror: 9 Passengers Shot Dead After Being Taken Off Buses

Quetta (The Uttam Hindu) : 9 people have been killed in Pakistan's southwestern Balochistan province. A group of armed men kidnapped these passengers travelling in buses. After that the attackers allegedly shot all 9 people. This incident took place in Sur-Dakai area located on the border of Zhob and Loralai districts of Balochistan.
According to Pakistani media, these buses were going towards Punjab province. A group of armed men blocked the road and stopped these buses. The buses were stopped in Sur-Dakai area near the N-70 highway. The attackers identified some passengers and took 9 people off the buses at gunpoint. After kidnapping 9 people, the attackers let the buses go. According to the report, a passenger said, "They had caught 9 passengers. 7 people were taken off from one bus and 2 from the other bus. I don't know what they did to them, but when we were leaving we heard the sound of gunfire." Provincial government spokesman Shahid Rind said that the passengers were kidnapped from the buses on Thursday evening. Another government official Naveed Alam said that their bodies were found in the hills. There were bullet marks on them.
According to the report, Zhob Assistant Commissioner Naveed Alam has confirmed the incident. He said that 9 people kidnapped from the bus have been killed and their bodies have been recovered. He further said that the bodies are being taken to Rakhni to be sent to their native cities in Punjab (Pakistan). No organization has yet claimed responsibility for these killings.
