Close aide of Hafiz Saeed shot dead in Pakistan; Lashkar terrorist killed in broad daylight

Lahore (The Uttam Hindu): Sheikh Mujahid, a 28-year-old terrorist of the banned terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba, was shot dead in Pakistan's Punjab province on Friday. However, Punjab Police has claimed that he had no links with Lashkar. The incident took place in Kot Radha Kishan in Kasur district, 60 kilometers from Lahore. According to senior police officer Isa Khan, Sheikh Muj Mujahid was shot during a shootout between two groups.

A close associate of Hafiz Saeed was killed in broad daylight in Pakistan; the attackers gunned down the Lashkar terrorist : He said that the firing took place between two rival groups, Rehan and Faizan. Mujahid was present at the spot along with others when the firing started. Some bullets hit Mujahid and he died on the spot. Police have registered a case against more than 20 suspects on the complaint of the deceased's father.
