Dallas(The Uttam Hindu): Four Indian nationals from the same family tragically lost their lives in a horrific car accident in the United States. The victims, originally from Hyderabad, were killed when a mini truck crashed head-on into their car near Dallas, Texas. All four died on the spot as the vehicle burst into flames following the collision.

The deceased have been identified as Venkat Bejugam, his wife Tejaswini Cholletti, and their two young children, Siddharth and Mrida Bejugam. The family hailed from the Suchitra area in Secunderabad and had been living in the Sutton Fields neighborhood of Aubrey, near Dallas.

They were returning home from a visit to relatives in Atlanta when the tragedy occurred. According to reports, a mini truck, allegedly speeding in the wrong lane, rammed into their car. The impact was so severe that the car was destroyed and immediately caught fire. The family was trapped inside and could not escape, leading to their deaths by burning.

Following the devastating incident, efforts are being made to transport their remains to India for final rites. A non-profit organization called Team Aid is working closely with the family’s friends and the authorities to facilitate the process. The group specializes in helping immigrants during emergencies and assisting with the repatriation of deceased individuals.

A representative from Team Aid confirmed that the bodies will be sent to Hyderabad for cremation. DNA tests are currently being conducted to confirm identities before the remains are handed over to the relatives. Meanwhile, U.S. officials are completing the necessary formalities related to identification and international repatriation.
