Washigton(The Uttam Hindu): Former U.S. President Donald Trump has once again stirred controversy with fresh allegations against Vice President Kamala Harris and several high-profile celebrities.

In a fiery post on his social media platform Truth Social, Trump claimed that during the 2024 presidential election campaign, the Democratic Party and Kamala Harris illegally paid millions of dollars to famous personalities for endorsing them.

Trump alleged that singer Beyoncé received $11 million, TV host Oprah Winfrey was paid $3 million, and civil rights activist Al Sharpton got $600,000 in exchange for public support. “These stars didn’t do any real work. Their so-called support was bought, which is a blatant violation of the law,” Trump wrote.

He further questioned, “Imagine if politicians start buying endorsements—what chaos would follow? Kamala and everyone who paid or received money broke the law and must be punished.” He also accused the Democrats of manipulating campaign finance records to hide these transactions.

Trump didn’t stop there. He claimed the Democrats were trying to divert attention from his “good work” and called the ongoing Jeffrey Epstein case investigation a “political scam.” He said he had ordered former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi to release grand jury testimonies related to Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell to expose the “fake scandal.”

These explosive allegations have sparked a heated debate in U.S. politics over whether paying celebrities for endorsements is a crime. If Trump’s claims are proven true, it could spell serious trouble for the Democratic Party and several prominent figures. Critics, however, argue that Trump is making these accusations to deflect from the investigations surrounding him.
