New York (The Uttam Hindu): US President Donald Trump has once again taken an aggressive stance against India and China and has given a stern warning to American tech companies. Trump has clearly said that companies should now give up their old strategy of setting up factories in China and employing workers in India and give priority to America.

Trump said this during an Artificial Intelligence (AI) summit on Wednesday, where he also signed three major executive orders aimed at boosting the US AI industry.

Addressing the summit, Trump said that for a long time, America's big tech companies followed the path of 'radical globalism', due to which millions of Americans felt cheated and useless. He said, "Our biggest tech companies took advantage of American freedom, but built their factories in China, hired workers from India and hid their profits in Ireland. During this time, these companies ignored the people of their own country and suppressed their voice."

Trump said in a stern tone, "These days are over under my leadership! It is time for tech companies to put America first." He appealed to all tech companies, including Silicon Valley, to adopt a sense of 'patriotism and national loyalty'. Trump stressed, "We want American tech companies to be completely dedicated to America. That's all we want."

The executive orders signed by Trump at the summit also include a White House Action Plan aimed at strengthening the US AI industry and exporting fully American AI technology globally. This move is considered to be part of Trump's ambitious plan to keep the US at the forefront of the global AI race.
