‘We shot…’ Godara gang claims responsibility for deadly attack on Punjabi singer Teji Kahlon in Canada

New Delhi/Toronto (The Uttam Hindu): Canada is becoming a safe haven for India's top criminals and gangsters. Now, news of a shootout between Indian gangsters on Canadian soil has emerged. It is being reported that the infamous Godara gang orchestrated this shooting.
The Godara gang itself claimed responsibility for the shooting in a social media post. This incident is believed to be another instalment of the bitter rivalry between the Lawrence Bishnoi and Rohit Godara gangs.
In a social media post, the Godara gang wrote, "Rama Ram to all the brothers... I (Mahendra Saran Dilana) (Rahul Rinau) (Vicky Phalwan), brothers, the firing on (Teji Kahlon) in (Canada) is done by us! And he has been shot in the stomach!"
The post further threatened, "If he learns from this, fine, otherwise we'll kill him next time! He was involved in financial support for our enemies, providing them with weapons, informing on our brothers in Canada and planning attacks on them! If anyone even thinks of looking at our brothers, let alone seeing them, they will be subjected to a fate that will reverberate in the pages of history!"
The gang also issued a warning to businessmen, builders and hawala operators in its post. The post stated, "Let me tell you! If anyone falls for this traitor and looks at our brothers or provides financial support to him, and we find out, not even his family will be spared! We will destroy him! This warning is for all brothers, businessmen, builders, hawala operators and anyone else! If anyone helps, they will be our enemy! This is just the beginning! Let's see what happens next!"
It should be noted that just a few days ago, the Rohit Godara gang claimed on social media that their operatives had attacked and shot Hari Boxer, a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, in California. Following the attack on Hari Boxer, the Lawrence gang had threatened to take revenge. Now, this new shooting incident in Canada has raised the possibility of a major gang war between the two gangs.
