‘Half the World Will Drown’: Pakistani Army Chief’s Latest Nuclear Warning to India"

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Pakistan's army chief Field Marshal Asim Munir has threatened India with a nuclear attack from US soil. Munir warned that if there is a war with India in the future and Pakistan's existence is threatened, he will plunge the entire region into a nuclear war. This is the first time that the army chief of any country has given such a threat against a third country from US soil.
We will destroy India's dam with 10 missiles
During a dinner organized in Tampa city of America, Munir said, "We are a nuclear-armed nation. If we feel that we are sinking, we will sink half the world with us." According to *The Print*, in his second US visit after the defeat to India in Operation Sindoor, Munir targeted India over the water control of the Indus river. He said, "We will wait for India to build dams and when it does so, we will destroy them with 10 missiles."
Meeting with US military officials
Munir, who arrived in Washington for the second time after the 4-day conflict with India, met top US political and military officials. In Tampa, he also attended the retirement ceremony of outgoing US Central Command (Centcom) commander General Michael E. Kurilla and the ceremony to mark the assumption of command by Admiral Brad Cooper.
Second US visit in two months
Earlier in June, Munir went on a five-day US visit. During that time he attended lunch with US President Donald Trump, which is an honour usually given to a head of state or government. At the end of the meeting, Trump announced to increase US-Pakistan cooperation in many areas including oil deal.
