New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): The Government of India has asked Indian citizens not to travel to Nepal right now because of the difficult situation there. Indians who are already in Nepal have been told to stay indoors, avoid going out on the streets and remain safe. They should also follow the instructions of local Nepal authorities and the Indian Embassy in Kathmandu.
For any help, Indians in Nepal can contact the Embassy of India in Kathmandu on these numbers (WhatsApp calls also work):
+977–980 860 2881
+977–981 032 6134
The government said it is keeping a close watch on the situation and will give all help to Indians living in Nepal.
