India’s PM ranks first globally at 75% approval; Milei and Sheinbaum trail behind

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Prime Minister Modi has once again emerged as the world's most popular democratic leader. According to the latest survey report of July 2025 released by business intelligence company Morning Consult, PM Modi has received approval from 75% of the people. This survey was conducted between July 4 and July 10 and included ratings of leaders from more than 20 countries.

According to the report released by Morning Consult, PM Modi is at the first position, while at number two is South Korean President Lee Jae-myung with an approval rating of 59%. At the third place is Argentina's President Javier Milley with the support of 57% people. They are followed by Canada's Mark Carney and Australia's Anthony Albanese (54%).
US President Donald Trump has received the support of 44% people, but 50% people are against him. The least popular democratic leaders include French President Emmanuel Macron and Czech Republic Prime Minister Petr Fiala, who have received the support of only 18% people, while 74% people are dissatisfied with them.
