Tehran/Tel Aviv (The Uttam Hindu): Diplomatic efforts to ease tensions between the United States Israel and Iran are intensifying but the situation remains volatile. US President Donald Trump has announced a five day delay in possible strikes on Iran’s energy and power infrastructure, signaling a temporary pause amid growing conflict.

Despite this announcement Israel reported fresh missile launches from Iran prompting emergency alerts for civilians. The Israeli military said its air defense systems were activated to intercept incoming threats and advised residents in affected areas to remain cautious as tensions escalated further.

At the same time Kuwait confirmed that its air defense systems responded to missile and drone attacks more than once within a short period. Reports also indicated fresh strikes on energy facilities adding to the instability. The developments come as the US pushes Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz while temporarily holding back on direct attacks.
