Iran confirms receiving US talk proposals, says discussions under consideration
Iran says it has received US proposals for talks and is reviewing them amid ongoing tensions.

Tehran (The Uttam Hindu): Iran has acknowledged receiving proposals for talks from the United States through mediators and said they are currently under review. A senior Foreign Ministry official stated that some points have been shared by the US and are being considered which indicates that indirect communication between the two sides is ongoing despite tensions.
This development comes at a time when the situation in the Gulf region remains tense and is affecting global energy markets. Several countries have stepped in to reduce tensions and encourage dialogue. Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has held discussions with his Turkish counterpart and other nations are also in contact to prevent escalation and protect energy infrastructure.
US President Donald Trump has also suggested that a possible agreement with Iran could be reached and claimed that talks have been positive. However Iranian leaders have dismissed some of the claims as misleading and maintained a firm stance. While there are signs of diplomatic movement no final decision on talks has been confirmed yet.
