The statement comes after airstrikes were reported near the Pakistan Embassy in Tehran with initial reports suggesting that all diplomats are safe despite the impact being felt in nearby areas.
Officials indicated that Pakistan takes the security of its diplomatic missions very seriously and will respond decisively to any threat.
