New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) has issued an advisory for the flight passengers going from Iran To Iraq. 'IGIA' has advised passengers to check the latest schedule and updates with the airline they are flying. This advice from IGIA has come amid growing hostility between Iran and Israel. Israel carried out an airstrike on Iran on Friday morning. Israel has named this operation 'Nation of Lions'.

'IGIA' said in the advisory, "Operations in Delhi are running smoothly. However, due to changing airspace conditions in Iran, Iraq and neighboring regions, some flight schedules have been affected. Passengers are advised to contact the concerned airline for the latest updates about their flights. We urge all passengers to rely only on official sources for accurate and latest information."

The Indian Embassy in Tel Aviv has also issued an advisory for Indian citizens in Israel, advising them to remain vigilant, avoid unnecessary movement and follow local safety instructions. On social media, the Indian mission has stressed the importance of caution and preparedness for Indian citizens living in or travelling to Israel.

At the same time, Air India said on Friday that in view of the current situation in Iran, routes of international flights going to the US, UK and Canada are being diverted and some flights are being sent back. This advisory was issued after the increasing tension between Iran and Israel and uncertainties regarding airspace in the region.
