Riyadh (The Uttam Hindu): A young man allegedly jumped from the top floor of the Masjid al-Haram (Grand Mosque) in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. Security personnel on the scene immediately intervened. A video of the incident is rapidly going viral on social media.

According to local reports, a security officer was injured while trying to prevent the young man from hitting the ground during the fall. Both were immediately transferred for medical assistance and the necessary official procedures were completed. Officials said the young man suffered injuries, including fractures, while the security officer also required treatment. Security and vigilance were increased on the campus following the incident.

It is worth noting that Masjid al-Haram is one of the holiest sites in Islam, housing the Kaaba. It is among the largest mosques in the world, with varying estimates placing its capacity at approximately 3 million to 4 million worshippers.
