Pakistan rattled by Operation Sindoor, 40 terrorists attempt infiltration along LoC

Srinagar (The Uttam Hindu): Emboldened by Operation Sindoor, the Pakistan Army and its intelligence agency, the ISI have orchestrated a massive infiltration effort to revive the moribund militancy in Kashmir. Several new launch pads have been activated along the Line of Control (LoC) and near the international border between Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab.
Sources say that about a dozen new launching pads have become operational across the LoC over the past month. These key locations are reported to be near Rajouri-Poonch, Baramulla-Kupwara and Gurez. Two new launching pads have also been reported operational in the Luni and Bara Baba Masrur areas across the international border in Jammu's Samba district. Approximately two to three terrorists are reported to be present at each launching pad, totaling about 40 active terrorists.
Sources say that most of these terrorists are residents of Pakistani Punjab and occupied Jammu and Kashmir, while some also claim to be Kashmiris. Several Kashmiri terrorists have been identified who suddenly disappeared from the Valley in recent years or traveled to Pakistan using passports.
According to security agencies, the terrorists present at these launching pads also underwent a few days of training with the Pakistan Army's Special Operations Group (SSG). Their handlers and the ISI are planning to infiltrate these terrorists into the valley in October-November. The aim is to transport them to safehouses inside the valley before the onset of snowfall—that is, before winter arrives.
