Questions raised about Trump's health, dark blue marks seen on hand; President himself clarified

Davos (The Uttam Hindu): US President Donald Trump is once again in the news during the ongoing World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, but this time the reason is not diplomacy but his health. While Trump was busy forming the 'Board of Peace', dark blue marks were seen on his left hand, which sparked a new debate on social media and political circles about his health. However, President Trump himself came forward and put an end to these speculations, calling it a minor accident and the effect of medication.
'My hand hit the corner of the table'
Responding to questions about the marks on his hand, Trump clarified that the injury was merely the result of an accident and nothing to worry about. Speaking to reporters, he said he was completely healthy. Recalling the incident, Trump explained that his hand accidentally hit the corner of a table. As a precaution, he applied some ointment. He added that according to the doctor, he doesn't need any special treatment, but he doesn't want to take any risks with his health.
High doses of aspirin became the reason
President Trump has attributed these marks to his regular medication. He revealed that he takes a "large aspirin" of 325 mg daily to maintain his heart health. According to Trump, this high dose thins the blood and makes the skin very sensitive, causing even a slight bump to leave a blue mark on the body. In his characteristic style, he said that he wants the blood flow to his heart to remain good and thin. He jokingly advised that if you want to keep your heart healthy, take aspirin, but be prepared to endure some blue marks along with it.
White House and doctor confirmed
White House Press Secretary Carolyn Levitt also echoed the president's statement. She confirmed that Trump's hand hit the corner of a table during the "Board of Peace" event. Officials also shared before-and-after photos of the president to clarify the situation, proving the marks were the result of a sudden injury.
Meanwhile, Trump's personal physician, Dr. Sean Barbabella, has confirmed that the president takes 325 milligrams of aspirin daily. According to medical experts and the Mayo Clinic, a dose of 75 to 100 milligrams is generally considered sufficient for heart protection, but higher doses can thin the blood, significantly increasing the risk of scarring.
