Kyiv (The Uttam Hindu): Ukraine is ready for a peace deal. President Volodymyr Zelensky said in Munich, Germany that Ukraine is ready for an agreement that will bring real peace. According to the agency, at the Munich Security Conference, President Volodymyr Zelensky said, "Ukraine is ready for an agreement that will bring real peace for us, for Ukraine and for Europe." He said that this crisis can be ended in an honorable way first and this is most important for us.

Zelenskyy says Europe is practically absent from the negotiating table, which is a big mistake. Ukraine is trying to fully involve Europe in the negotiation process so that its interests and voice are taken into account, reports Xinhua news agency.

He said Ukraine will do everything possible to ensure the success of these talks and is in constant contact with US representatives. Meanwhile, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said earlier this month that Russia is ready to find a negotiated solution to the Ukrainian crisis based on the agreement reached with US leaders.

"Russia is fully committed to the outcome of the talks between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump in Anchorage, Alaska, last August. Moscow hopes that its interests will be fully taken into account in the process of reaching a mutually agreed agreement with partners ready for honest and direct dialogue," he said.

Lavrov stated that Russia will uphold truth and justice in international affairs and promote a multipolar world based on the purposes and principles of the UN Charter. He also stated that Moscow will oppose double standards, hidden agendas, imposed settlement formulas, as well as methods of neo-colonialism and hegemony.

The Foreign Minister stated that Russia will prioritize strengthening strategic partnerships with emerging centers of the multipolar world. He also stated that Russia and like-minded partners will work to rapidly develop sanctions-resistant systems for trade, investment, financial, and logistics cooperation.
