Russian hacker group ‘Killnet’ claims Ministry ‘agent’ leaked intelligence on 1,500 drones; could change the course of the war

Moscow/Kyiv (The Uttam Hindu): The Russian hacker group Killnet says it has acquired critical technical information about drones used by Ukraine’s military. A member using the name Killmilk told RIA Novosti that this intelligence could be significant, since drones are central to operations on both sides.
Insider in the Ministry
Killmilk alleges that Ukrainian initiatives like Brave1 and the USF startup fund connected over 1,500 drone manufacturers across Ukraine and that Killnet used a mole inside the Ministry of Digital Transformation to leak full documentation on drones and electronic-warfare systems.
What Was Leaked
According to Killnet, the stolen files include model specifications and performance data speed, range, camera specs, and payload/weapon capabilities for many drones sold on Ukraine’s main military marketplace.
Examples of Exposed Models
Reportedly affected models include Skat, Gore, Juj, Tor, Archangel Sword, DaVinci, Iron Sky, F7, Pixel, Sirko, Hermes, and FPV Complex Crook, among others.
About Killnet and Next Steps
Killnet is known for cyberattacks against Ukraine and Western targets. Ukraine has not yet responded publicly. Analysts warn that if the leak is real, it could allow adversaries to identify weaknesses and attempt jamming or targeted strikes on drone systems.
