Stephen Hawking seen lying between two women in bikinis, new Epstein file photo sparks controversy

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Discussions have intensified in the United States and several other countries after a new batch of documents linked to disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein was made public. Among them, a photograph has triggered fresh controversy, showing renowned scientist Stephen Hawking lying between two women.
It is reported that both women in the image were wearing black bikinis and had their faces covered. The time and location of the photograph remain unclear, but it has gone viral on social media, leading to various speculations.
Hawking’s family issued a statement noting his historic contributions to physics in the 20th century and his long struggle with motor neuron disease. The statement added that, considering his physical condition, any suggestion of inappropriate conduct is unfounded and misleading. Hawking passed away in 2018 at the age of 76 after decades of battling a serious neurological condition and lived with the help of a wheelchair and voice synthesizer.
Context linked to 2006 conference
According to media reports, in March 2006, Hawking was part of a group of scientists who attended a conference sponsored by Epstein. The event was held on the Caribbean island of Saint Thomas, located near Epstein’s private island. At that time, the serious allegations against Epstein had not yet come into public focus.
Reference to earlier claims
Hawking’s name had also appeared in earlier court documents related to Epstein when Virginia Giuffre claimed he attended a party in the Virgin Islands. However, Hawking was never formally accused of any criminal wrongdoing.
It is noteworthy that before Epstein’s death in prison in 2019, several serious charges were pending against him. With the emergence of the latest documents, debates involving high-profile names have resurfaced, although official investigations and judicial conclusions are awaited to confirm any claims.
