In bold move, Trump labels himself ‘Acting President of Venezuela’ on social media

Washington (The Uttam Hindu): US President Donald Trump is once again in the headlines due to US action against Venezuela. Meanwhile, he has made a controversial and surprising claim. On his social media platform, "Truth Social," Trump has described himself as the "acting president" of Venezuela. His post is rapidly going viral.
Now Trump calls himself 'Acting President of Venezuela,' claims it in his own post: It 's worth noting that earlier this month, the US took extensive action against Venezuela. During this period, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, along with his wife, Cilia Flores, were detained and taken to New York, where they were charged with serious narco-terrorism conspiracy.
Trump subsequently stated that the US would assume responsibility for Venezuela until a safe, just, and sensible transition of power took place. He stated that the US could not afford to let a party take over Venezuela that was against the interests of its people.
Power in Venezuela subsequently passed to Vice President and Oil Minister Delcy Rodriguez, who was formally sworn in as the country's interim president last week. Trump then stated that the Venezuelan interim administration would provide the United States with 30 to 50 million barrels of high-quality, approved oil, which would be sold at market prices.
Earlier, it was revealed that the Trump administration is pressuring Venezuela to end its economic ties with China, Russia, Iran, and Cuba. Only in return will it be allowed to produce more oil. ABC News, citing sources, reported that the US administration wants Venezuela to partner exclusively with the US in oil production and give the US priority when selling crude oil. Currently, this entire issue remains a topic of international discussion.
