Let Bibi Go! Trump Rallies Behind Netanyahu, Slams Corruption Case as Unfair

Washington (The Uttam Hindu): US President Donald Trump has once again criticized the ongoing criminal case against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Along with this, he has claimed that this will harm efforts to deal with Gaza and Iran. Without directly threatening the prosecution, Donald Trump has highlighted the billions of dollars of US aid to Israel.
Donald Trump wrote on 'Truth', "What is happening to Bibi Netanyahu in Israel is terrible. He is a war hero. A Prime Minister who has done a great job with the United States in getting rid of the nuclear threat in Iran."
"Importantly, he is now negotiating a deal with Hamas that will include returning the hostages," Trump wrote.
He wrote, “How is it possible that the Prime Minister of Israel can be forced to sit in a courtroom all day for nothing (cigars, Bugs Bunny doll, etc.) This is a political vendetta, a deliberate investigation or persecution against someone without concrete evidence. This mockery of 'justice' will hinder the talks between both Iran and Hamas.”
Trump wrote, "In other words, this is stupid. The United States spends billions of dollars every year to defend and support Israel, far more than any other nation. We are not going to tolerate this at all. We have just won a major victory under Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu and this tarnishes our victory. Let Bibi go, he has a big job to do!"
