Trump says Iran must surrender unconditionally for any deal, Iran responds ‘do not underestimate us’

Washington (The Uttam Hindu): Tensions between the United States, Israel, and Iran continue to rise. Amid the ongoing conflict, US President Donald Trump has taken a tough stand, saying that any negotiation or agreement with Iran will be possible only if Tehran agrees to an unconditional surrender.
In a post on social media, Trump clearly stated that no deal will be made with Iran until it surrenders without conditions. He said that after such a surrender, a better leadership could emerge in Iran. Trump also added that the United States, along with its allies, would work to help Iran rebuild its economy. In his message, he even used the slogan “Make Iran Great Again,” suggesting that Iran could become stronger and more prosperous in the future.
Iran continues attacks
Meanwhile, tensions in the region remain high. According to reports, Iran has continued attacks on Israeli and American positions. The country has reportedly been using drones and missiles to target locations, further escalating the conflict. The international community is now closely watching the situation and possible diplomatic efforts to reduce tensions and maintain regional security.
Iran sends strong message: ‘Do not underestimate us’
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said on Friday that some countries have begun efforts to mediate in the conflict involving the United States and Israel. He stated that Iran also prefers peace, but only with dignity and independence.
Pezeshkian said that Iran had recently lost its Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, and some people may have underestimated the country. In a post on the social media platform X, he wrote that Iran remains committed to maintaining peace in the region, but it will not hesitate to defend the nation’s honor and freedom. He also added that mediation efforts should focus on those who underestimated the Iranian people and provoked the conflict.
