Trump Unleashes Fury Over Islamic Terrorism, Threatens Military Action Against Nigeria

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): US President Donald Trump has expressed his anger over the killing of Christians in Nigeria. He has ordered the Pentagon to plan for possible military action to stop the violence against Christians in Nigeria.

He also warned that if the Nigerian government fails to stop the violence against Christians, not only will the Islamic terrorists be eliminated, but all US aid will also be cut off. The US President warned on his Truth Social, writing, “If the Nigerian government continues to allow the killing of Christians, the US will immediately cut off all aid to Nigeria, and may even “spill the guns” into that notorious country to wipe out the Islamic terrorists who are committing these horrific atrocities.”

President Trump further wrote, "I am directing my War Department to prepare for possible action. If we attack, it will be swift, brutal, and intense, just like the terrorists who attack our beloved Christians! This is a warning." Earlier, the US President had ordered an investigation into the matter, writing that Christianity in Nigeria is under existential threat. Thousands of Christians are being killed. Radical Islamists are responsible for this mass killing. I am declaring Nigeria a "country of particular concern."

He continued, “When Christians, or any such group, are being massacred like in Nigeria (3,100 vs. 4,476 worldwide), something must be done! I urge Congressman Riley Moore, along with Chairman Tom Cole and the House Appropriations Committee, to immediately investigate this matter and report back to me. The United States cannot remain silent while such atrocities occur in Nigeria and many other countries. We are ready, willing, and able to defend our vast Christian populations around the world!”
