Trump vows revenge for fallen US soldiers as massive bombing hits Iran

Washington D.C. (The Uttam Hindu):– Tensions in the Middle East have intensified following joint military action by the United States and Israel against Iran. The attacks reportedly caused extensive damage to Iranian military infrastructure. US President Donald Trump said American forces had destroyed and sunk nine Iranian naval vessels and targeted key military installations, further escalating the confrontation with Tehran.

According to reports, three American soldiers were killed and five others injured in an Iranian strike on Sunday. Trump vowed strong retaliation, stating that military operations would continue until the deaths of the soldiers are avenged. In a message on social media, he claimed that several major Iranian naval assets and facilities had been heavily damaged and warned that further action would follow.

The Israel Defense Forces also stated that operations had been carried out against what it described as key elements of Iran’s military network. The United States Central Command confirmed large-scale air operations, saying B-2 stealth bombers equipped with heavy munitions struck fortified missile facilities. The command also reported an attack on an Iranian Jamaran-class warship near the Gulf of Oman during a military operation.

US military officials alleged that Iran had responded by targeting multiple locations across the region, including airports, ports, hotels and residential areas in several countries. They claimed that the attacks affected sites in the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Iraq, Bahrain, Qatar and Israel, further raising concerns about the widening scope of the conflict.
