New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Tensions between Iran, the US, and Israel are now impacting multiple countries worldwide. While the US is pushing to end the conflict on its own terms, Iran remains firm on its stance. In the midst of this, Pakistan has offered to mediate, and reports suggest that US Vice President JD Vance may visit Islamabad for discussions aimed at reducing the conflict.

Preparations are reportedly underway for high-level talks in Pakistan, which has positioned itself as a key mediator. JD Vance is expected to be accompanied by senior officials from the US administration. Diplomatic engagements have intensified, with Pakistan’s leadership in contact with both US and Iranian counterparts, as efforts continue to open dialogue and find a resolution.

At the same time, the US has indicated that its military operations against Iran are progressing rapidly and nearing their primary objectives. Officials claim thousands of targets have been hit, significantly weakening Iran’s military capabilities, including its naval strength and missile operations. They also state that the campaign has reduced threats to global shipping routes, particularly through the strategically crucial Strait of Hormuz.
