Venezuela (The Uttam Hindu): Following Maduro's capture, a new interim president has been appointed in Venezuela. The Venezuelan Supreme Court made this decision. Delcy Rodriguez has been appointed Venezuela's new interim president. It should be noted that Delcy Rodriguez was previously serving as Venezuela's Vice President.

This decision was made after President Nicolas Maduro was taken hostage. In fact, the US suddenly attacked Venezuela, and the resulting situation could have destabilized Venezuela in Maduro's absence. Consequently, Vice President Delcy Rodriguez was appointed the new interim president. It is noteworthy that Maduro was detained in an operation conducted by US forces early Saturday.

Delcy Rodriguez is originally from Caracas, Venezuela. She was born in Caracas on May 18, 1969. Her father, Jorge Antonio Rodriguez, was a leftist guerrilla fighter. Jorge founded the revolutionary Lega Socialista party in the 1970s. Maduro himself has been a fan of Delcy's talents, once calling her a lioness. Delcy has served in several important government positions.

Following the recent serious situation in Venezuela, Delcy Rodriguez made a major statement. She demanded that the United States release Maduro. Rodriguez, while calling for the US to release Maduro, stated that her country would never become anyone's colony. She also stated that Venezuela is fully prepared to protect its natural resources. Delcy Rodriguez also expressed deep displeasure at the US actions.
