New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): The US and Iran agreed on a two-week ceasefire on April 7th. Both sides agreed on 10 points for the ceasefire. Meanwhile, Iran has alleged that three points have been violated. Let's explore the 10 points agreed upon between the US and Iran.

According to CNBC News, Iran's Parliamentary Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf on Wednesday accused the US of breaking the two-week ceasefire agreement. "Our deep historical distrust of the US stems from its repeated violations of all commitments," Ghalibaf said in a statement posted on social media. "Regrettably, this pattern of US aggression has been repeated once again," Ghalibaf said.

Ghalibaf said three parts of Iran's 10-point ceasefire proposal have been violated. These violations include Israel's continued attacks on Lebanon, the intrusion of a drone into Iranian airspace, and the denial of the Islamic Republic's right to enrich uranium.

Iran and the US reached an agreement on these 10 points:

Non-aggression guarantees by both sides and acceptance of Iran's uranium enrichment

Controlled passage through the Strait of Hormuz in coordination with Iran's military

Ending the war on all fronts, including the fight against the Hezbollah group in Lebanon

Withdrawal of US forces from all bases and deployment points in the region

Abolish all resolutions of the United Nations Security Council and Board of Governors

Establish a secure transit protocol in the Strait of Hormuz that guarantees Iranian dominance under agreed conditions

Full compensation for Iran's estimated losses during the conflict

Lifting all major and secondary sanctions against Iran

Release of all blocked Iranian assets abroad

Approval of all these conditions through a binding resolution of the United Nations Security Council, so that they become subject to international law

An Iranian delegation will arrive in Islamabad on Thursday night for talks with the US. "Despite doubts about Iranian public opinion due to the Israeli government's repeated ceasefire violations to thwart the diplomatic initiative called by PM Shahbaz Sharif, an Iranian delegation is arriving in Islamabad tonight for serious talks based on Iran's 10 points," Iran's ambassador to Pakistan wrote in a social media post.
