Iran Slams US Bombing as Violation of International Law, Vows to Continue ‘National Industry’

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Iran's Atomic Energy Organization has said that the attacks on its nuclear sites are a violation of international law. However, the organization did not clarify how much damage has been caused by these attacks. US President Donald Trump has claimed that the US army attacked Iran's Fordo, Esfahan and Natanz nuclear sites. This attack took place at 4.30 am on Sunday (Indian time).
Iran has made it clear that it will not stop the work of its 'national industry', which is vital for the country's nuclear development. Tehran's agency said that attacks on its nuclear sites violate international law.
Iran's nuclear agency said in a statement, "Iran's Atomic Energy Organization assures Iran that despite the conspiracies of its enemies, it will not stop the development of this national industry, which is the result of the efforts of thousands of its revolutionaries and scientists and experts, and is the result of those who sacrificed their lives in the nuclear program." After the air strike on Iran, Donald Trump had claimed that the US Army had attacked Iran's Fordo, Esfahan and Natanz nuclear sites.
Trump wrote on the social platform 'Truth', "We have completed our very successful attack on three nuclear sites in Iran - Fordow, Natanz and Esfahan. All planes are now out of Iran's airspace. Congratulations to our great American warriors. There is no other army in the world that could have done this. Now is the time for peace!" Along with this, Donald Trump has said that this is a historic opportunity for America, Israel and the world. Iran should agree to end this conflict.
Earlier on Friday, Trump told reporters that he had given Iran a maximum of two weeks to negotiate on its nuclear program. On June 13, Israel launched airstrikes on Iran, destroying several infrastructure and killing dozens of Iranian military commanders and nuclear scientists. In response, Iran launched missile and drone attacks on several locations in Israel.
