New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Military tensions between Iran and the United States have intensified, raising serious concerns about a possible confrontation. In view of the escalating situation, the Embassy of India in Tehran has issued an important advisory for all Indian nationals residing in Iran. The Government of India has strongly urged its citizens to leave the country at the earliest to ensure their safety.

Rising military tension increases risk

The deteriorating situation between the two nations has created uncertainty and fear across the region. Increased military movements and sharp exchanges have heightened the risk of a large-scale conflict at any time. Anticipating potential emergency conditions, the Indian Embassy has moved into alert mode and advised citizens not to delay their departure, so they do not face difficulties if the situation worsens.

January advisory reiterated

Along with the fresh appeal to leave Iran, the Government of India has also reiterated the advisory issued in January. At that time, the government under Ali Khamenei was taking strict measures to deal with widespread protests in the country. Indian nationals had then been advised to exercise extreme caution for their safety. With both external and internal tensions rising again, the importance of that warning has significantly increased.
