Dubai (The Uttam Hindu): While on one hand the price of gold is touching the sky all over the world and for a common man buying even a small ring is becoming a dream, on the other hand Dubai has presented such a sample of its wealth that the world is astonished to hear about it. In this city famous for luxury and grandeur, now the first such road in the world is going to be built which will be full of the shine of gold. The Sheikh of Dubai is bringing a project named 'The Gold District' which will add to the grandeur of the Emirates. This news has come at a time when the world is facing the brunt of inflation, but Dubai has proved that it has no match in terms of luxury.

What is the mega plan of 'The Gold District'?

According to media reports, Dubai property developer Ithra Dubai has announced this historic project. This road will be the only one of its kind in the world. Its primary objective is to make Dubai the world's largest center for the gold and jewelry trade. It will be more than just a road, but a massive commercial hub. It will house not only gold shops, but also over 1,000 retail outlets across perfumes, cosmetics, and lifestyle categories. The area is being uniquely designed to attract tourists, shoppers, and professionals, making it a landmark on the global map.

Indian brands will be seen in full swing, grand stores will open

Indian jewelers will also have a significant stake in this ambitious project in Dubai. Reports suggest that, along with renowned brands from around the world, Indian giants will also be present here. In addition to Jawahara Jewellery and Al Romaizan, renowned Indian brands like Malabar Gold & Diamonds and Tanishq Jewellery will also open stores here. Joyalukkas, in particular, is preparing to open its largest flagship store in the Middle East, spanning approximately 24,000 square feet. Since Dubai is a major market for Indian jewellery, this project also presents a significant opportunity for Indian traders.

Dera will become a new center of luxury, luxurious hotels will be built for stay

This grand street will be built in Dubai's Deira area, historically a hub of the gold trade. Now, this area is being transformed into a more high-tech and convenient one. The project focuses on the convenience of international business guests and trade partners. Six luxurious hotels with over 1,000 guest rooms will be built here. The primary objective is to provide convenience to buyers and facilitate business transactions, thereby boosting Dubai's tourism sector to new heights.
