Double murder: Delhi Mother and Son Found Dead, servant killed them because he got angry after being scolded

New Delhi(The Uttam Hindu): A shocking double murder rocked Delhi’s Lajpat Nagar after a 42-year-old woman, Ruchika, and her 14-year-old son, Krish, were found dead in their home on Wednesday morning. Police believe the murders occurred late Tuesday night.

According to police, the house’s main door was locked from the outside. The victims’ bodies were discovered after Ruchika’s husband returned home late at night and, upon finding the door locked and getting no response, alerted the police. The police forced entry to find Ruchika dead in the bedroom and Krish’s blood-soaked body in the bathroom. The crime scene suggested both were attacked with a sharp weapon.

Investigations revealed that the family’s servant had killed the mother and son in a fit of rage after being scolded. He fled the scene, locking the house behind him. Police launched a search and later arrested the accused servant. Forensic teams examined the scene, and CCTV footage from the area was reviewed as part of the investigation. The brutal murders have left the neighborhood in shock.
