New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Due to increasing tension between India and Pakistan, fake news is continuously spreading on social media. Through PIB Fact Check, awareness is being spread by identifying and marking these misleading information. This misinformation can further increase the tension and mislead the public perception.

In the same sequence, PIB Fact Check has debunked a misleading claim on social media platform 'X', which claimed that Indian soldiers are crying and leaving their posts due to rising India-Pakistan tensions. PIB clarified that the youth shown in the video are students of Indore Physical Academy, a private defense coaching institute in Indore, who were getting emotional in the joy of being selected in the Indian Army.

Similarly, it is being said on social media that the Indian post has been destroyed. But this is an old video for which PIB Fact Check has warned. This video was uploaded on YouTube on November 15, 2020.

PIB Fact Check has exposed another fake news. In this news, it was being told that there were explosions near Srinagar Airport in Jammu and Kashmir. This was a report from Al Jazeera. PIB advised to be cautious of such fake news and said that trust only the official source.

Similarly, the claims of explosion at Jaipur airport have turned out to be false. Jaipur airport is completely safe and the DC of Jaipur has also issued a clarification regarding this.

At the same time, a video shared on social media is claiming that India has carried out a drone attack on Nankana Sahib Gurudwara. This claim is completely fake. PIB Fact Check said that such content is created to spread communal hatred. Please be cautious. Do not forward such videos.

One of the news being circulated on social media is that 70 percent of India's electric grids are not working due to Pakistan's attack. This claim has also been proven false.

Amid the ever-increasing tension between India and Pakistan, PIB Fact Check is continuously investigating information related to this conflict on the Internet and is appealing to the countrymen not to believe or forward such news and to maintain restraint.
