Nuh jeweller's shop robbed: Thieves smash shutters, make off with crores in gold, silver
Nuh (The Uttam Hindu): Late Saturday night, unknown thieves broke into Hariom Jewellers, located in the main market of Pinangwa town in Nuh, Haryana, and stole gold and silver jewellery worth crores of rupees before fleeing. Police have registered a case and launched an investigation.
When the shopkeeper opened his shop in the morning, he learned of the entire incident. Upon receiving the information, the police arrived at the scene and began their investigation.
Shop owner Hariom said that silver items were primarily stolen. The exact amount of damage is unknown. The incident occurred around 3:30 a.m. The thieves sprayed black paint on the shop's CCTV camera to prevent it from being recorded, but other nearby cameras clearly show more than six thieves fleeing with the jewelry towards the grain market.
Upon receiving information about the theft, DSP Punhana Jitendra Singh Rana arrived at the scene with his team. Police immediately called in a dog squad and fingerprint experts. A large crowd gathered in the narrow alley outside the shop. Police are conducting a thorough investigation and reviewing all nearby CCTV footage.
This major theft has created panic among merchants in the area. According to police officials, teams have been deployed to investigate the incident.
DSP Jitendra Rana stated that a major incident has occurred, with CCTV footage showing six suspects. The local police were informed immediately after the incident and arrived at the scene. The total value of the stolen jewelry is being assessed. Police patrolling will be increased in the streets.
He appealed to the public for cooperation. More bike riders will be deployed. Three separate teams have been deployed for the inspection.
A search team has been formed to find the six suspects shown in the CCTV video. Their arrest will soon lead to a breakthrough in the case.
