Operation Sindoor Exposed: Swift Strike Destroys 9 Terror Camps, Top Officers Share Mission Details

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): In a major action in response to the Pahalgam terrorist attack, the Indian Army carried out an airstrikes on nine terrorist bases in Pakistan. Around 90 terrorists were killed in this attack. India has called this operation 'Operation Sindoor'. On Wednesday at 10:30 am, senior officials of the Indian Air Force and Army informed the journalists about Operation Sindoor in a press conference. The program began with the screening of a two-minute video clip which showed scenes of the airstrikes on terrorist bases in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK).


During this, for the first time, one woman officer from each army was present - Colonel Sofia Qureshi of the Army and Wing Commander Vyomika Singh of the Air Force. Both of them said that Operation Sindoor started at 1:05 in the night and the action continued for 25 minutes. They clarified that the targets were only terrorist structures; no harm was done to the Pakistani army and civilians.


Highlighting the precision and preparedness of the strike, Colonel Sofia said, "We pinpointed the location of the terrorist hideouts with the help of our intelligence channels. The strikes were timely and targeted to avoid any unnecessary casualties." Wing Commander Singh, while describing the features of the aircraft and weapon systems involved in the operation, said that the mission was carried out with an extremely high success rate.


At the end of the press conference, he appealed to the countrymen for unity and said that the armed forces are firm in their resolve to protect the nation and are ready to give a befitting reply to any challenge.
