Islamabad (The Uttam Hindu): People's anger against the oppression going on for decades in Pakistan's Balochistan province is now coming out openly. Fed up with the step-motherly treatment of the Pakistan government, the Baloch people are constantly protesting, which sometimes take a violent form and sometimes are expressed verbally. Recently, Secretary General of the Baloch American Congress Razzaq Baloch has launched a scathing attack on the Pakistani government and army in an interview. He has appealed for help from countries like India and America for the independence of Balochistan.

Razzaq Baloch claimed that 70 to 80 percent of Balochistan has now become a 'no-go zone', where even the Pakistani army hesitates to go. He even said that even in major cities like Quetta, Pakistani soldiers hide in their barracks after sunset and do not dare to come out.

He further said that the Pakistani army has turned the whole of Balochistan into a big military cantonment, but now the public has risen against it. He said that despite the arrest of leaders like Marang Baloch, protests are continuing in every district. While praising the efforts of leaders like Sardar Akhtar Mengal, he also made it clear that now freedom is not possible only through internal efforts, but for this the help of the international community is absolutely necessary.
