PSEB 10th Result 2025: 95% Pass, Girls Shine Again, Rural Students Make Big Mark
Mohali (The Uttam Hindu ): The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has declared the much-awaited results of class 10th today, Friday. This year a total of 95 percent of the candidates have passed successfully, which is a positive sign for the education sector. A total of 2,77,746 students appeared in the examination, out of which 2,65,548 have been successful. It is particularly noteworthy that girls have won the top three positions in the state, which shows their extraordinary talent and dedication.
An analysis of the detailed exam results shows that girl students have once again outperformed boys. The pass percentage of girls was 96.85%, while the pass percentage of boys was recorded at 94.50%.
Apart from this, another important aspect that has emerged from the data is that students from rural areas have performed better than those from urban areas. While the pass percentage in urban areas was 94.71%, 96.09% students from rural areas passed the exam. This underlines the strength of the rural education system and the hard work of the students there. The board officials have congratulated all the successful students for their excellent performance and wished them a bright future.
