Refusal to Physical Relations Turns Deadly: Husband Kills Wife in Chhattisgarh

Balrampur (The Uttam Hindu): A very shocking and heinous case has come to light from Balrampur-Ramanujganj district of Chhattisgarh. A husband brutally murdered his wife in the Pahadi Korwa Basti of Chainpur Panchayat under Kusmi police station area of ​​the district. The accused took this horrific step only because his wife refused to have physical relations with him. In this case, the police took immediate action and arrested the accused husband Babua Korwa (25). This sensational incident happened on Wednesday night.

According to information received from the police, Babua Korwa, a resident of Lalkhwa Korwa Para of Saranga Jobhi Path village of Chainpur Panchayat, was married to Dheli Bai, daughter of Madhu Korwa of the same village, four years ago. The couple also has two young children. On Wednesday night, Babua's parents and other family members had gone to a relative's house. Babua returned home late at night drunk and expressed his desire to have physical relations with his wife Dheli Bai. However, Dheli Bai refused to have relations for some reason.

Babua got angry at his wife's refusal and he started beating his wife. When Dheli Bai's father Madhu Korwa came to know that his son-in-law was beating his daughter, he went to his daughter's in-laws' house along with his younger brother Sadho. On reaching there, Babua got into a fight with his father-in-law Madhu and his younger brother Sadho. On this, Madhu and Sadho together beat up Babua. Also, both of them instructed Babua not to fight and returned to their home the same night.

After the father-in-law and his brother left, Babua's anger towards his wife flared up even more. He said to Dheli Bai that 'you got me beaten up'. After this, he once again started beating his wife mercilessly and tried to forcefully have sex with her. During this time, he became completely monstrous. He beat his wife mercilessly and finally picked up a big stone and hit Dheli Bai on the head, due to which his wife died on the spot.

After killing his wife, Babua wrapped her body in a blanket and sat beside the body the whole night. The neighbors came to know about this heartbreaking incident on Thursday morning. They immediately informed the village Kotwar (village guard) about it. The Kotwar informed the Kusmi police station about this heinous crime. On receiving the information, Kusmi police station in-charge Lalit Yadav reached the spot with his team and arrested the accused Babua Korwa. The police have registered a case of murder and started further legal action.
