Uncontrolled Bull Tramples People in Sambhal Procession: Many Injured, Police Flee

Sambhal (The Uttam Hindu): There was panic and stampede in Sambhal district of Uttar Pradesh on Friday when a stray bull suddenly entered a Chehalum procession. The bull created a lot of ruckus in the crowd of thousands and threw down many people. The situation became so uncontrollable that even the policemen deployed for security were seen running here and there to save their lives. A video of this entire incident is now becoming increasingly viral on social media.


According to the information, this incident happened on Friday near Thana Nakhasa crossing. The Chehalum procession was being taken out peacefully, in which thousands of people were participating. During this, an uncontrollable bull ran into the crowd. Seeing the bull coming towards them, people got terrified and a stampede broke out.

Eyewitnesses said that the bull kept creating havoc in the procession for about half an hour. It attacked many people with its horns, due to which many people got minor injuries, while the condition of one person is said to be critical. The fear of the bull can be clearly seen in the eight-second video going viral on social media, in which people and policemen are seen running to save their lives. This incident has once again raised serious questions on the problem of stray animals in the city.
