Tragedy in Phagwara: Foreign Student Fatally Stabbed in PG Room

Phagwara (The Uttam Hindu) :  The big news of this time is coming from Phagwara. Seven youths entered Star Homes PG in Mahedu village of Phagwara at around 4 am on Thursday and attacked a foreign student with knives. He died in Johal Hospital Jalandhar. Police has started investigating the case. DSP Phagwara Bharat Bhushan has confirmed the murder. SSP Gaurav Tura will soon reveal the whole case in a press conference. Ahmed Mohammad son of Noor Ahmed Hussain resident of Sudan, presently resident of Star Homes PG village Mahedu said that on Thursday morning at 4 o'clock, his friend Mohammad Bada Wala Yusuf Ahmed resident of Sudan and Narmeen Omar Abdullah son of Omar Abdullah resident of Sudan, Fatima Aljehra Amir Hamir resident of Sudan were in the PG. 6-7 persons came and started abusing them. Two of them had knives. They caught hold of both of them and started hitting them. We started shouting for help. Hearing this, everyone ran away. After hearing our shouts, Prabhat Dubey came for help and took us to Johal Hospital Jalandhar. Mohammad Bada Wala Yusuf Ahmed resident Sudan was declared dead by the doctors and he is admitted in the hospital due to serious injuries.
