Make in India boost: Samsung India Opens Pre-Orders for Galaxy Z Fold7, Flip7

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Samsung, India's largest consumer electronics brand, announced that in a bid to promote the 'Make in India' initiative, the company has started taking pre-orders for its most advanced Galaxy Z series ever - Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip7, which are being manufactured in the country.

Galaxy Z Fold7, the thinnest and lightest phone ever in the Galaxy Z Fold series, comes with improved Galaxy design, camera functionality, and AI innovations. The device offers an ultra-smartphone-like premium performance and experience, while also introducing new levels of efficiency and productivity with a larger, more immersive display when unfolded, the company said.

The starting price of Galaxy Flip 7 is Rs 1,09,999, while the starting price of Galaxy Fold 7 is Rs 1,74,999. Similarly, the starting price of Galaxy Flip 7 FE is Rs 89,999. The company said that customers pre-ordering Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 will get pre-order benefits of Rs 12,000 in addition to 24 months of no-cost EMI.

With its ultra-thin and lightweight design and wide cover display, the Galaxy Z Fold7 offers a seamless on-the-go experience, making typing and browsing easier when folded.

Weighing just 215 grams, the Galaxy Z Fold7 is even lighter than the Galaxy S25 Ultra. It is just 8.9mm thick when folded and 4.2mm thick when unfolded. The device comes with a 6.5-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x Cover Display, a wide screen with a new 21:9 aspect ratio.
