New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): In today's times, people do not shy away from spending money like water on their comforts and luxurious lifestyle. Spending lakhs and crores to fulfill their hobbies has become common, but have you ever heard of a private plane that costs not 100-200 crores, but a whopping 900 crores? Yes, recently one such deal has become the topic of discussion around the world. We are talking about the 'Global 8000' business jet of the famous Canadian company Bombardier, which is making headlines due to its sky-high price and unmatched features.

Former Canadian hockey star bought this 'super plane'

According to reports, this super-luxury aircraft was purchased by former Canadian hockey star and prominent businessman Patrick Dovigi. Although the company had set the base price for the aircraft at approximately ₹708 crore (approximately $1.7 billion), Patrick had it customized to his needs and preferences. These special modifications and additional features have brought the total cost of this business jet to ₹9 billion (approximately $1.9 billion). It is considered the world's fastest civilian aircraft after Concorde, a record in terms of speed.

5-star hotel-like facilities in the air

The Global 8000 isn't just an aircraft, it's a floating palace. Passenger comfort is so carefully considered that even long journeys don't tire you out. The jet features four equally sized living spaces, complete with comfortable king-size beds, a modern kitchen, a dining area, and a luxurious bathroom. Its interiors and ambiance are designed to make your journey feel like you're in a luxury villa.

Such technology that it can land even at small airports

Technically, this aircraft is also a unique piece of engineering. It utilizes revolutionary "Smooth Flex Wing" technology. Unique leading-edge slats on its wings make it unique. This allows the Global 8000 to land at 30 percent smaller airports or difficult terrain than other aircraft in its class. This feature enables it to reach approximately 2,000 additional locations around the world that larger jets typically cannot reach.

Experience the height of Burj Khalifa

Another key feature of this aircraft is its cabin pressurization system. With a cabin altitude of 2,691 feet, flying in it feels like standing at the top of the world's tallest building, the Burj Khalifa. This business jet offers a two-in-one aircraft experience in terms of performance, boasting the industry's fastest speeds and longest range.
