AAP MLA Gurdeep Singh Randhawa Condemns Congress Leader Sukhjinder Randhawa’s Remarks Against Police Administration

CHANDIGARH(The Uttam Hindu):  Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA from Dera Baba Nanak, Gurdeep Singh Randhawa, strongly condemned the remarks made by Congress leader and current Member of Parliament Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa against the police administration, stating that it is extremely shameful to politicise the martyrdom of two brave police personnel who were recently martyred in Gurdaspur.

AAP MLA Gurdeep Singh Randhawa said, “It is extremely shameful to politicise the martyrdom of our two brave police personnel who were recently martyred in Gurdaspur. Such sacrifices demand respect, not political opportunism.” He added, “Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa used abusive language against the SSP there, which reflects his poor mindset. I want to remind him that the same SSP and the Punjab Police proved their capability by solving the case within just 72 hours, killing one accused in an encounter and putting the other behind bars.”

Launching a direct attack, the AAPMLA asserted, “Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa should tell the public what relations his family had with the dreaded terrorist ‘Natti’ of that time. What connection did his family have with the terrorist who used to call Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa’s father, Santokh Singh Randhawa, his ‘father,’ and whom Randhawa considered his brother?”

He further stated, “Why does Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa maintain silence regarding his links with the infamous Ansari family of Uttar Pradesh and other gangsters? Those whose own links are connected with criminals have no moral right to level allegations against uniformed and honest police personnel.”

Questioning his integrity, the AAP MLA said, “When a 17-year-old innocent child and his father were murdered, why did Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa not speak about strict punishment then?” Referring to alleged corruption in Kalanaur, Gurdeep Singh Randhawa said, “During Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa’s tenure as a minister, a major scam of ₹8 crore took place there between 2018 and 2021.”

He added, “Proof of this corruption is the FIR registered on the 22nd, in which a Vigilance officer has booked 8 people, including 2 BDPOs and a DTPO. This action is living proof that under Congress rule, a game of loot was being played behind the façade of ‘honesty.’

Gurdeep Singh Randhawa warned, “Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa should stop misleading the people, as his true face has now been exposed before everyone
