Five members of same family die by suicide, couple and three children consume poisoned milk

Mathura (The Uttam Hindu): A heartbreaking incident has emerged from Mathura district in Uttar Pradesh, leaving the entire area in shock. In Khaparpur village of the Mahavan police station area, five members of the same family, husband, wife and their three children were found dead under suspicious circumstances. Initial information suggests that all five consumed poison.

According to reports, the incident occurred on Monday night. Preliminary investigation indicates that the family allegedly mixed poison in milk and consumed it. On Tuesday morning, when there was no movement from the house for a long time, relatives and neighbours grew suspicious and alerted the police. Upon reaching the spot, police found all five family members dead inside the house.

Police took the bodies into custody and sent them for post-mortem examination. Evidence is being collected from the scene, and family members as well as villagers are being questioned to understand the reason behind the extreme step.

Police officials stated that the exact cause behind consuming poison is not yet clear. The case is being investigated from all angles, and the real cause of death will be confirmed only after the post-mortem reports are received. Following the incident, Khaparpur village remains in mourning, with a wave of grief across the region.
