Jaiveer Shergill meets BJP National President Nitin Nabin; detailed talks on Punjab’s worsening law & order, drug menace, debt and unemployment
New Delhi(The Uttam Hindu): BJP National Spokesperson Jaiveer Shergill paid a courtesy call on the newly appointed BJP National President Nitin Nabin. During the meeting, the two leaders held extensive discussions on contemporary and important issues related to Punjab.
During the meeting, Jaiveer Shergill apprised the National President of the rapidly deteriorating law and order situation in Punjab and expressed serious concern over the rising crime rate, the alarming drug problem, the increasing debt burden, and the growing unemployment among the youth in the state.
Shergill said that it is the dream and resolve of every BJP worker in Punjab to see a BJP government in the state. He emphasized that only the 'double-engine' Modi government is capable of pulling Punjab out of the dark period of anarchy, drugs, debt, and unemployment.
Jaiveer Shergill urged the newly elected BJP National President to visit Punjab soon and said that the people of Punjab, especially the BJP workers, are eagerly awaiting his arrival. He expressed confidence that this visit would provide new energy, direction, and strength to the organization.
