Wall collapse in rain-hit Delhi kills seven, victims buried under rubble

 New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu)- Big news is coming from the country's capital Delhi. The news is that seven people have died due to wall collapse in Jaitpur area. In Jaitpur police station area, around 9:15 am on Saturday, the police received information that a wall has collapsed on the slums near Mohan Baba temple behind Hari Nagar village area. The local police started the rescue operation. 8 people were buried under the debris, who were rushed to AIIMS and Safdarjung hospital in injured condition. These include four men, two women and two children.


Now information has come out that seven of these injured people have died. Actually, it rained heavily in Delhi last night. Due to this rain, more than 100 flights are taking off late. Many areas are flooded. In such a situation, traffic jams are occurring. The Meteorological Department has issued a red weather alert for the whole day today.
