Veteran singer Asha Bhosle critical after cardiac arrest, hospitalised in Mumbai

Mumbai (The Uttam Hindu): Veteran playback singer Asha Bhosle was rushed to hospital after suffering a cardiac arrest on Saturday. She was immediately admitted to Breach Candy Hospital where she is currently undergoing treatment. The sudden health emergency has caused concern among her fans and the film industry.

Doctors at the hospital confirmed that she was brought in promptly after the cardiac arrest and is being treated in the emergency medical unit under close supervision. Asha Bhosle is one of the most celebrated voices in Indian cinema with a career spanning more than six decades.
