Canada to deport 3 Lawrence Bishnoi gang members linked to firing incident at Kapil Sharma's cafe
Toronto (The Uttam Hindu): The Canadian government has begun preparations for major action in the case of the firing at famous comedian Kapil Sharma's cafe. The government has made it clear that those involved in extortion and violence will not be spared. This move is being seen as a sign of a tough stance on the rise of gang crime in Canada.
According to reports, the shooting occurred outside Kapil Sharma's "Kap's Café" in Surrey. Investigations have revealed that the three accused involved in the shooting are affiliated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. It is reported that these accused had demanded a ransom from the cafe owner, and when their threat was not met, they opened fire.
Canadian police agencies have so far identified three suspects in this case, two of whom are of Indian origin. According to sources, the Canadian government has initiated the process to deport them soon. Furthermore, surveillance has been increased on criminals associated with other gangs.
Canada's Ministry of Public Safety issued a statement saying there will be zero tolerance for foreign gang activity in the country. "Any individual or group found to be involved in extortion, threats, or violence will face strong action," the statement said.
At this time, no official statement has been issued by Kapil Sharma or his representatives regarding the incident. However, according to police sources, Kapil Sharma is safe and is fully cooperating with the investigation.
