'Kantara Chapter 1': Gulshan Devaiah Joins Cast, First Look Revealed

Actor Gulshan Devaiah has entered this film. His first look and character from the film has also been revealed.

Bollywood actor Gulshan Devaiah will be seen playing the role of Kulasekhar in this film. His first look from this movie was shared by the filmmakers on Instagram today. Sharing it, they wrote, "Presenting 'Kulasekhar' from the world of Kantara Chapter 1, played by Gulshan Devaiah."

Gulshan is seen sitting like a king in this new poster. Seeing this, it seems that this time he will play the role of a king in the film. This look of his has increased the curiosity of Rishab Shetty's film and his fans.

This film is a prequel to Rishab Shetty's 2022 blockbuster film 'Kantara'. The film also received a lot of praise from critics. Rishab Shetty was in a double role in this film. Along with him, Saptami Gowda, Kishore and Achyuta Kumar were also in important roles.

The story of the film is based on the clash between a Kambala champion and an honest forest officer. Along with the audience, many stars of the film industry also called the film excellent. Superstar Rajinikanth praised it by calling it a 'masterpiece'.

On the other hand, 'Kantara: Chapter 1' is based on the reign of the Kadamba dynasty. Rishab Shetty has written and directed it, while Vijay Kiragandur is its producer. The film stars Rishab and Jayaram in the lead roles. The shooting of the film began in November 2023 and its first look and teaser were released on November 27.

This film will be released in theatres on 2 October.
