Dehradun (The Uttam Hindu): Strict rules are now going to be implemented regarding the entry of non-Sanatanists into the sanctum sanctorum of the Badrinath and Kedarnath temple complexes, which are among the sacred Char Dhams of Uttarakhand. This new rule is going to have a direct impact on Bollywood actress Sara Ali Khan, who often visits Kedarnath Dham, who will now have to give an affidavit of her faith in Sanatan Dharma to have the darshan of Baba. After this big decision, Lok Sabha MP and actress Kangana Ranaut has also reacted sharply. Kangana has asked in her familiar outspoken style that when we all are Sanatanis, then what is the problem in writing it down on a paper?

‘Why should you be nervous about writing the truth?’ Kangana gave a befitting reply

On Wednesday, MP Kangana Ranaut expressed her opinion on this resolution, passed by the Badrinath and Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC) board meeting on March 10. She said that everyone in the world is Sanatani. Kangana argued that all other religions are only a thousand or fifteen hundred years old, while Sanatan has neither a beginning nor an end. She clearly stated that Sanatan is the only truth and that Sara Ali Khan is also a Sanatani, so she should have no hesitation in writing this truth.

Sara will be able to see Baba only after submitting an affidavit: Temple Committee

Clarifying the situation on this entire matter, the President of Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee, Hemant Dwivedi, made a big statement in a press conference on Tuesday. He said that whether it is Sara Ali Khan or any other non-Hindu devotee, if they give an affidavit in writing of their unwavering faith in Sanatan Dharma and of believing in Hinduism, then they will be fully welcomed in the Dham. The President clarified that if actress Sara Ali Khan, who entered Bollywood with the film 'Kedarnath', submits this affidavit expressing her faith, then she will be given darshan of Baba with full respect.

Proposal sent to the government, crowd gathered for Chardham Yatra

The temple committee has prepared the complete draft of this new affidavit and sent it to the state government for approval. Let us tell you that Sara Ali Khan has deep faith in Kedarnath Mahadev and she keeps visiting here from time to time. Recently, on the special occasion of Mahashivratri, she had also shared her pictures from near the temple on social media. Meanwhile, tremendous enthusiasm is being seen among the devotees regarding the world famous Chardham Yatra starting from next month. Under the online registration campaign started from March 6, more than six lakh devotees have got themselves registered in just 10 days till March 16.
