Violent clash over land dispute, one person dead and 8 injured

Karnal (The Uttam Hindu): A violent clash broke out between two groups on Thursday over a land dispute between Mundogadhi and Sadarpur villages in Karnal. The incident resulted in the death of a 65-year-old man, while eight others were injured.

According to reports, the dispute escalated अचानक, leading to a physical confrontation between both sides. There were also reports of firing at the scene, although this has not yet been officially confirmed.

Following the incident, tension gripped the area. Police teams rushed to the spot and began efforts to bring the situation under control. The injured were immediately taken to nearby hospitals, with some critically injured individuals referred to Karnal for further treatment.
